However, what set things apart from usual was the unexpected request that I would get from my audience. The owner of the home asked me to play another song, and shortly after, the audience began chiming in. Unable to ignore this request, I played another song: the classic Jingle Bells. Soon after, they started to donate and I managed to get $35 which was the most I had gotten from one location. As of right now, things were looking good; I had everything including an engaged audience and excellent performance on my record.

Brandywine Governors Crossing was the fourth location where I played. Looking back on it, it was one of my most memorable concerts to date. I remember arriving, setting up my instrument and watching the residents taking their seats one at a time. Each one had an optimistic look, excited to see the songs I had to offer them. Briefly, I gave the speech about the cause as usual, and proceeded to play my instrument. Everything went pretty smoothly in the beginning and I was surprised at my confidence.
