Holy House Senior Citizen Center Hightstown

The Holy House in Hightown was the second location where I played. Remembering my first performance, I saw this as a chance for redemption. I walked in confidently with my stuff, where I was greeted by Willma, who runs the Holy House. She told me where I should set up and then called the house's inhabitants. When everyone arrived, I started with a speech - one where I talked about the cause and my relationship with Om Parikh. Already off to a good start, I began to play my music. I noticed throughout my performance that my mistakes began to decrease: I started to play more clearly and elegantly. While I was playing, several things happened that I didn't expect would happen.
Suddenly and out of nowhere, the top part of my stand broke off and fell. Kindly, while I was playing my instrument, an elderly man got up and moved it to the side. However, this wasn't the end of the surprises because towards the end of my performance, my instrument fell out of tune and I struggled to continue through the piece. Unexpectedly, the audience praised my music, claiming they were impressed with my performance. On top of that, I received my first donation of $25 from Wilma and several funds from the audience. I was so grateful to them that I hugged them, appreciating what they've done for me. I left the Holy House with newfound confidence and satisfaction, eagerly waiting for my next performance.
